By studying the intersection of femininity and skate culture, I created a unique identity for female skateboarders to envy. I explored the fem-punk aesthetic and how it can be applied to design by researching the skateboarding community to identify opportunities for empowering women in the sport.

Wild Flwr Skate Co. is for skateboarders and athletes seeking empowerment and community within the sport and anyone who aligns with the brand’s mission. As a woman owned skate brand, it embraces the free-spirited, independent nature of female athletes. With an aim to create products that showcase the strength, individuality, and fun of being a female skateboarder.

The designs and website reflect the energetic, rebellious, and empowering side of skating. Designs integrate bold, vibrant graphics with a punk-inspired aesthetic. Bold, energetic colors with a mix of softer tones to balance the gritty and girly nature of the brand. Clean layout with emphasis on products and community engagement. With features that connect users to the brand’s mission of supporting women-oriented organizations.
